Dutch Kills Civic Association
Existing Land Use Survey and Report was performed
by Dutch Kills members during March and April 2005
The Survey was a Visual Field Inspection of Dutch Kills
land use. The results were placed on 37 grid maps,
color coded, graphed and totaled.
The survey inspected all structures on streets, avenues
and roads encompassed by the following boundary:
37th Ave. and 24th Street going East on 37th Ave. (south side)
to Northern Blvd. (west side) South to 41st Ave. (north side)
West to 23rd Street (east side) North to 39th Ave.(south side)
East to 24th Street (east side) North to 37th Ave.
Survey Color Code and Totals
BLUE = Residential (all) - 252
RED = Commercial/Lt.Industry/Warehouse/Open Lot Storage - 243
BLUE/RED = Mixed Use Residential/Commercial - 34
ie. Residential over Restaurant/Other Business
Green = School/Church/Playground - 8
Brown = Public Facility/Other City Owned - 3
ie. Fire House
