Hello Members
We all know that the re-zoning process is moving faster
than first anticipated with the Community Board 1,
Queens Borough President and City Planning Commission hearings
completed approving the re-zoning plan
with recommended changes. As for the density changes,
we will never satisfy everyone no matter how hard we try.
It is now onto the City Council for approval.
We will be proposing a letter to each and every council member
of the Queens delegation as well as each City Councilman,
to be mailed following the CPC hearings. We will also ask those
of our member that have the time to lobby as many councilmen/councilwomen
as possible. This will be a Dutch Kills Civic Association
full court press to obtain residential re-zoning for our community.
Membership dues; $10.00 Individuals, $15.00 Families.
